ALDEN - The Alden County Sheriff's Office and its Benevolent Police Association has announced that all Deputies across the County will receive a 2.7% increase to their salaries after Alden County's Board Of Commissioners agreed to increase the salaries early this year.
"These deputies risk their lives day in, day out to protect our children, our properties, and our county," said ACSO Benevolent Association President Derek Braumore. "They deserve this long-overdue pay increase. We are happy the county agreed to pass the pay increase."
The pay increase will be seen by Deputies starting at their first paycheck of September 2024. This will give the county enough time to update the pay portal and will reflect the change of salary to prospective employees with the Alden County Sheriff's Office.
